Timisoara City Tour and Downshifting at Stanciova
After a 2-3 hours tour in the city center, we drive towards East, cross the wine hills at Recas and arrive in Stanciova. This is an old (15th century) Serbian village. What’s new here is a young community made of urban professionals who choose to leave their town jobs (or to work as freelancers) and to live a simpler life in this small village. Most of them are growing their own vegetables and animals. This way of living is called downshifting. We’ll visit Teodora’s household. Here we’ll watch a movie about the life in the Communist Romania and afterwards we’ll have dinner in the company of our guests. The food will be prepared by our hosts with organic products from their own gardens.
At the and of the tour we come back in Timisoara and you will be dropped-of at your hotel.
This tour runs on request from April to October.
