Terms and Conditions – Timișoara City Tours

These terms apply to every tour booked on www.timisoaracitytours.com (the “Website”) and to the use of the Website. By booking a tour you confirm that you have read and accept them, together with our Booking Policy, Cancellation & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

1. Who we are

Timișoara City Tours is run by CODRE DAN-MARIAN ÎNTREPRINDERE INDIVIDUALĂ, unique registration code (CUI) 44452717, address: Str. Alba Iulia nr. 7, Timișoara 300077, Romania. E-mail: office@timisoaracitytours.com, phone / WhatsApp: 0040 723 791 654.

2. Our services

We organise guided tours in Timișoara and the Banat region: walking tours, half-day trips and day trips. Each tour page describes the route, duration, languages, what is included and not included, the meeting point and the price. Photos are illustrative; the route may be adjusted on the day for safety, weather, opening hours or traffic.

3. Booking and contract

You book by choosing the number of participants, date, start time and tour language, and by entering your contact details. The contract between you and us is concluded when the payment is confirmed by our payment processor; you then receive a confirmation e-mail with all the details. Please check that your e-mail address and phone number are correct: we use them to contact you about your tour.

Online bookings close a number of hours before the start of the tour (shown on each tour page). For last-minute requests, write to us on WhatsApp.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euro (EUR) per person and depend on the size of the group. The total is calculated by the Website before you pay and includes an online payment fee of 1.19% of the tour cost + 0.50 RON.

Card payments are processed securely by NETOPIA Payments and are charged in Romanian lei (RON), converted at the exchange rate of the National Bank of Romania (BNR) of the day. The exact amount in RON is shown before you are sent to the payment page. Your bank may apply its own conversion fees. We never see or store your card details.

5. Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel free of charge until 24 hours before the start of the tour and receive the tour cost back; the online payment fee is not refunded. The details, including what happens if we have to cancel a tour, are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

6. Your responsibilities

Arrive at the meeting point on time; we cannot wait for late participants beyond 15 minutes.
Wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for the weather and the activity level of the tour.
Tell us in advance about any mobility needs, allergies (food tours) or other special requirements.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them.
Follow the guide’s safety instructions and the rules of the places we visit.

7. Liability

We provide our services with the care of a professional tour operator. We are not liable for delays or changes caused by events outside our control (weather, strikes, road closures, decisions of the authorities, closures of the places visited), for personal belongings, or for damage caused by participants not following the guide’s instructions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Intellectual property

The texts, photos and logos on the Website belong to Timișoara City Tours or their authors and may not be copied without our written permission.

9. Complaints and disputes

If something is not right, please contact us first at office@timisoaracitytours.com: we answer every complaint within 30 days. You can also contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC, www.anpc.ro) or use alternative dispute resolution through ANPC’s SAL service (https://reclamatiisal.anpc.ro/).

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes that cannot be settled amicably are resolved by the competent courts in Romania, without affecting the rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence.

10. Changes and languages

We may update these terms; the version published on the Website when you book applies to your booking. These terms are available in Romanian, English and German; if the versions differ, the Romanian version prevails.
