Six thousand years of history
Parța is home to a Neolithic sanctuary more than 6,000 years old – the only completely reconstructed sanctuary of its kind in Europe. We visit it through the museum of the Parța Sanctuary and talk about the people who lived and worshipped here thousands of years ago.
Farms, bread and crafts
The village still lives from the land. We visit family farms, a local mill and a traditional bakery, and meet the small-scale producers and farmers who turn what the land gives into artisanal treasures. Along the way you will discover the local culture, expressed through traditional crafts and folk costumes.
Four churches and a hidden story
The village centre is home to four different churches, a small hub of ecumenical life typical of multicultural Banat. Around the village, your guide tells the intriguing story of the bunkers built here during the communist era.
