A rare musical opportunity to see one of the most prominent youth orchestras from the USA! On Sunday, July 5, 2026, starting at 7:00 PM, Capitol Hall will host an extraordinary concert performed by the Sacramento Youth Symphony, under the baton of conductor Ryan Murray.
Founded in 1956, the orchestra brings together over 400 talented young musicians and is debuting a vibrant and challenging program in Timișoara:
- J. Brahms: Hungarian Dance No. 5
- J. Sibelius: Finlandia
- J. Montgomery: Starburst
- M. Mussorgsky: Pictures at an Exhibition (Symphonic Suite)
- D. Shostakovich: Symphony No. 5: Allegretto
- A. Copland: Four Dance Episodes from Rodeo
The event is organized in partnership with the Banatul Philharmonic and the Timișoara City Hall.
